Question: My ordered voltage regulator is missing a (black or brown) wire
Answer:
Some voltage regulators require an additional switched 12V connection to function. On modern regulators, these connections are often unnecessary. As a result, your new voltage regulator may have one fewer connection. Check your motorcycle to see if the remaining connection is indeed a switched 12V connection. If so, you can simply connect and use the voltage regulator.
If the missing connection is not a switched 12V connection, the voltage regulator you received may not be suitable for your motorcycle. In that case, please contact our customer service before connecting the voltage regulator.
