NOTE: for BSA B40, B44 and B50 - models with a separate inspection cover in the clutch cover. the x4 threaded bosses protrude inwards and may touch the end of the new rotor supplied. The remedy is to remove a small amoout of material using a 'power file', or similar grinder from the inside of the threaded boss - typically 2mm. - see images above.

NOTE: Only suitable for Matchless models with a tin clutch cover where the original stator is mounted directly on to the crankcase.

NOTE: A battery is NOT required to run the ignition or lighting but advantageous for brakelight or indicators.

- Replacement for Lucas or Wipac alternator. Complete digital self generating ignition and alternator, pre-programmed advance curve gives optimum performance.
- No battery, contact breaker assembly or distributor required for the ignition.
- Simple timing set-up align marks on the rotor and stator.
- Supplied regulator/rectifier is 6v or 12v selectable by cutting the blue wire. Output is DC to charge a small battery.
- The battery can be replaced with a PP12 capacitor pack - see related products below, this is more reliable than a battery but has limited energy storage. See notes about battery in Fitting Instructions tab above.
- Rotor is supplied with a taper locking collet, enabling the rotor to be fitted on the 3/4" crankshaft without the need for a woodruff key, this allows system to be fitted even if keyway is damaged. The rotor can be fixed in any position making timing easier to set up.

Die Carmo-Digitalzündsysteme sind gegen hohe Spannungsspitzen, defekte HT-Spulen und falsch anschließen von die Batterie geschützt.
Dieser Schutz bedeutet, dass die Carmo-Digitalzündung bei einer defekten Elektronik in Ihrem Motorrad nicht sofort beschädigt wird.
Bei längerem Gebrauch eines Motorrades mit defekter Elektronik kann das digitale Carmo-Zündsystem beschädigt werden.
Dies bedeutet, dass die Carmo Digitalzündung ohne das elektrische Problem nach einiger Zeit ausfallen könnte. Wenn Untersuchungen ergeben, dass Ihre Carmo Digitalzündung beschädigt wurde.
In diesem Fall versuchen wir Ihr Zündsystem zu reparieren, um die Kosten so gering wie möglich zu halten. Wenn das System nicht repariert werden kann, wird ein neues Produkt zu einem reduzierten Preis angeboten.
In allen Fällen werden wir unser Bestes geben, um eine akzeptable Lösung anzubieten.
Das Testen Ihres originalen Zündmoduls ist beim Kauf eines unserer Ersatzsysteme kostenlos! Während des Tests können wir oft die Ursache von Defekt angeben.
Auf diese Weise wissen Sie, ob Ihr Originalmodul wirklich ersetzt werden muss, und Sie können andere elektrische Probleme lösen.
